The patented Polarmond all-in-one bivouac is the weight-optimised version of the expedition assortment line and unites the conventional functions of tent, sleeping bag, vapour barrier liner and thermal mat in one product.

It is designed for:

MANUAL

BIVOUAC MODULE:

  • The fabrics of the bivouac module have been tested and certified in accordance with Flame Protection Norm CPAI84-1995. Nevertheless, it is not recommended to place heat sources near the tent or inside the tent or to ignite an open fire. The risks of suffocation and/or burns are possible!
  • It must be ensured that there is always sufficient fresh air in the tent’s interior. The risk of suffocation is possible!
  • Carefully choose the location for setting up the tent. Rough/jagged ground should be avoided in order to prevent damage to the equipment. Dangerous areas must be avoided: Falling rocks/branches, lightning, floods, avalanches, strong winds and additional potential risks can seriously injure the tent’s occupants!

SLEEPING SHELL:

  • The outer fabrics of the sleeping shell–with the exception of the entry area–have been tested and certified in accordance with Flame Protection Norm CPAI84-1995. Nevertheless, it is not recommended to place heat sources near the sleeping shell or to ignite an open fire. Burns are possible!
  • The interior fabrics of the sleeping shell and those of the entry area are not fire-proof. Heat sources or open fires near or inside the sleeping shell are forbidden. The risks of suffocation and/or burns are possible!
  • One’s head must be kept outside the sleeping shell at all times. The risk of suffocation is possible!
  • Carefully choose the location for setting up the sleeping shell. Rough/jagged ground must be avoided in order to prevent damage to equipment. Dangerous areas must be avoided: Falling rocks/branches, lightning, floods, avalanches, strong winds and additional potential risks can seriously injure the sleeping shell’s occupants!
  • Flawless functioning can be ensured only in combination with a suitable thermal mat and liner from POLARMOND!    

LINER:

The fabrics of the liner are not fire-proof. Contact with heat sources or open fires must be avoided. Burns are possible!
